Primex Selling Complex, Casino NSW

Our 2020 sale bulls are registered, performance recorded, PI tested free and fully vaccinated.

A single bull’s genetic influence has the potential to significantly impact the future direction of your herd.

Selection indexes are calculated for angus bulls to reflect both the short term profit generated directly through the sale of progeny and a longer term profit generated by daughters in a self-replacing female herd.

We have been breeding angus cattle for over 30 years and our bulls are raised under commercial conditions, coastal dryland farming and cropping with high humidity and very high stocking rates.

We believe we are presenting some excellent young carcase bulls. The combination of genetics in the following reference sires with our female herd has allowed us to
achieve this.

A maternal brother to NAQA241, sired by TC Aberdeen 759 born in 2013.His genetics show him to be above average for all indexes & he has been used solely within our herd. He is now on lease to Clunie Range.

A bull with calving ease and an excellent 400 day growth, combines in a package a breed leading EBV profile, an eye appealing phenotype, excellent feet and legs.

Impeccable skeletal design and muscle shape, wide based, square hipped, tremendous depth of body with wide top and a bold rib shape.

JMB TRACTION 292 (USA17262374)

An outcross performance sire adds volume and capacity, depth plus base width. His figures indicate he is a trait leader for 200 day, 400 day, 600 day growth, EMA and RBY. An ideal range for our herd.

Counterweight is another sire with low birthweight & calving ease, having super sound structure with extra rib mass plus good muscle & thickness. He is docile & easy to handle and will add more length & frame to progeny.

M46 was chosen as our back up sire this year as he combined Coonamble Elevator E11 genetics (powerful frame plus high growth, weight gains & good structure) with a Sitz Upwards daughter that provides plenty of milk. She is a very strong cow within our herd.

Command was chosen by us as he appeared to be a complete young bull that would advance our breeding goals. His figures for all traits are in the top 5% for the angus breed. He has calving ease with awesome phenotype, tremendous body & thickness. With 400day weight +109 ( top 1% ), 600day weight +140 ( top2%), EMA +11.2 (top 5%), along with very strong  reeding indexes he fitted into our breeding programme very well. His calves are born THICK & with no problems.
